Cookie Policy
Last updated: 19 August 2026
This policy explains how Sparkle uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them for authentication, paid-click attribution, and — only with your consent — for identified analytics and session replay.
2. Cookie categories
| Name / provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase Auth | Sign-in and session | Strictly necessary | Session / as configured |
| sparkle_consent (optional) | Stores your cookie choices | Strictly necessary | 12 months |
| sparkle_acq | Paid-click attribution (campaign, click id) for conversion tracking | Strictly necessary | 30 days |
| PostHog | Usage analytics. Cookies, identified profiles, and session replay only after opt-in. Without consent: cookieless hash (no cookie). | Analytics | See PostHog policy |
3. Consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent. Analytics cookies, identified profiles, and session replay load only after you accept them in our cookie banner. Until you accept (or if you choose necessary-only), PostHog may measure traffic without cookies using a daily privacy-preserving hash and no persistent identifier. You can change your choice anytime via "Cookie preferences" in the site footer.
